Grouper has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. What you type stays in the browser you typed it in.
What Grouper stores, and where
- Your classes, rosters, levels, roles, rules, teacher name, term and pairing history are saved in this browser’s local storage (the key
rgg.v3). Named snapshots are saved beside them (rgg.snapshots.v1). - That storage lives on this device only. Grouper never sends it to a server, and Megan Warren cannot see it.
- Save to file and Export write files to your own device. Copy puts the groups on your clipboard.

The page is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles standard request data (your IP address and browser type) to deliver the page and keep it safe. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Open Saved | Backups in the app. Start fresh clears your classes and history; each snapshot has its own delete button. Clearing this site’s data in your browser settings removes everything at once. Nothing is kept anywhere else, so there is nothing for anyone else to delete.
